Legal Managed Services

The first step is the inventory: which duties are already running, who discharges them today, and with what.

Some legal work is not a case but continuous operation. Records that have to be kept current. Duties that change while you are meeting them. Rights whose deadlines do not wait. Opening a new matter each time is slow and expensive — and it still stays on your desk. We take these duties on as a running service: the tool does what recurs, the lawyer decides where a decision is owed, and responsibility does not stop at the tool.

The list below is where we stand today, not the extent of it. It grows with what supervisory authorities begin to require and with what recurs in mandates — and it grows when a company names a duty it no longer wants to administer case by case. What can be described as a procedure can be operated as a service.

What that means in detail
01In partnership with caralegal

Privacy Manager — data protection as an ongoing operation

Data protection as a service rather than a project: the record of processing, risk assessment and vendor review run on one platform, and the documentation is produced along the way. The platform comes from our cooperation partner caralegal in Berlin, hosted in Germany; legal assessment and responsibility stay with us.

AI register and evidence trail — which system runs where

Which AI system runs where, in which role and risk class — together with the evidence the AI Act requires: model versions, logs, assessments, post-market monitoring. The register is the overview; the evidence trail is the work that hangs on it.

03Coming soon

Regulatory radar — what reaches you, and when

AI Act, NIS 2, Cyber Resilience Act, Data Act, supply chain law: which requirement applies to which entity and which product, from when, and what is changing. The hard part is not the text of the law but mapping it onto a portfolio that keeps moving.

04Coming soon

Supply chain — risk analysis

Your supplier list as an export from your procurement system — turned into the risk analysis by country and sector that the German Supply Chain Act requires annually and on specific occasions, with documentation. It complements your procurement system rather than replacing it.

05Coming soon

IP Manager — trademarks, deadlines, portfolio

Trademarks and IP rights with their deadlines in view: renewals, grace periods for use, opposition deadlines — before they expire.

06Coming soon

Contract portfolio and deadline monitoring

Terms, notice periods and automatic renewals across the whole contract portfolio — monitored in one place instead of in individual calendars.

07Available

Whistleblowing system under the HinSchG

A reporting office as the German Whistleblower Protection Act requires from 50 employees. Reports come in via web, e-mail or telephone, anonymously if wished. The acknowledgement within seven days and the feedback within three months are monitored, and every case is documented. We run the reporting office, conduct the procedure and recommend follow-up measures — up to an internal investigation where needed.
